The Band

Things Happen(ed) emerged from the beautiful humid land of San Juan, Puerto Rico, blending the raw energy of punk with the melodies and chords of midwest emo.

What started as some random songs written in a bedroom eventually evolved into a band that has influences from indie, cumbia, Tunas, latin and much more, filtered through a lens of folk punk.

Mix Doug RMR’s guitars and trombone obsession with Danny’s dynamic drumming and you have an interesting package. Since their inception, Things Happen(ed) has recorded all of their music in Puerto Rico and they plan on keeping it that way.
